# Installation

* If your server has any other chat resources installed, delete them from the resources directory to avoid compatibility issues with [origen\_chat](https://www.origennetwork.store/package/6840581).
* Copy the [origen\_chat](https://www.origennetwork.store/package/6840581) script folder into your server's resources directory.
* Open your `server.cfg` file in a text editor and add the following line to ensure the script starts with the server:
  * `ensure origen_chat`
* Restart your server to apply the changes and load the [origen\_chat](https://www.origennetwork.store/package/6840581) script.

We recommend uploading our script files without using FileZilla, as the upload process may corrupt our scripts. As a recommendation, please use WinSCP or other reliable programs to upload the files.
